GP Korea, Vettel on pole ahead of Webber and Alonso

All Red Bull front row at the Korean F1 GP. Sebastian Vettel took pole position ahead of his teammate Mark Webber. Both Red Bull drivers overtook Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) on the last run when the Ferrari driver now seemed to have pole in his grasp. The Spaniard therefore had to settle for third position on the Yeongam grid ahead of Lewis Hamilton (McLaren Mercedes).

Webber however will start from the dirty side of the track while Hamilton found himself on the second row despite showing good pace. The Englishman was however lucky not to damage his car when he lost control at the pitlane entrance and narrowly missed the barriers.

Nico Rosberg is fifth with the Mercedes GP ahead of the other Ferrari of Felipe Massa. Jenson Button struggled to get his tires up to temperature in all three sessions and finished in seventh position ahead of Robert Kubica's Renault, Michael Schumacher (Mercedes GP) and Barrichello's Williams.

Q2 didn't hold any big surprises despite the fears related to traffic and the dirty track. Nico Hulkenberg narrowly missed out on the top 10 while Kamui Kobayashi beat Nick Heidfeld at Sauber with 12th position to his teammate's 13th. Vitaly Petrov with the other Renault is 15th despite a spin and precedes the two Toro Rossos.

Tonio Liuzzi missed Q2 while his Force India teammate Adrian Sutil will start 14th. Jarno Trulli, 18th with Lotus, is the best among the drivers of the new teams.
