Chinese GP: two DRS zones confirmed

The FIA has confirmed the addition of a second DRS zone at the Shanghai circuit.

In previous years the circuit had only one area in which the drivers could open the mobile wing, i.e. the approximately one kilometer long straight between turns 13 and 14. This year, however, the FIA has decided to implement a second area at greater number of tracks.

Both zones in Shanghai will have single detection points: the first near turn 12 and the second just before the final curve.

The first zone is the longest, 752 metres, and it is here that we will see a lot of overtaking given the heavy braking before being able to tackle the hairpin at turn 14.

I remember, for all the enthusiasts who follow us, the appointment on Friday 12 April at 04:00 (Italian time) to follow the first Free Practice session of the Chinese Grand Prix together live.
