Brazilian GP, Hulkenberg after pole: "An incredible feeling"

A great performance from Williams in qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Nico Hulkenberg surprisingly obtained pole position while his teammate Rubens Barrichello obtained sixth position.

Nico Hulkenberg – Pos 1:
“I didn't expect to be on pole today, but the team gave me a car that worked very well in these conditions and I had a clean lap. My engineer on the radio told me I was on pole, but I couldn't believe it. It's an incredible feeling. We have to remain realistic for the race, and I am aware that there are riders behind me fighting for the championship, but we are fighting for position and we will do everything we can to get a good result. For now, thanks to AT&T Williams for giving me a really great car today. I'm so happy and I want to enjoy this moment with the team!”

Rubens Barrichello – Pos 6:
“I'm really happy for the team: it was a nice afternoon for us. We have a pole position, even if not with me! I'm excited for Nico though. In these conditions, it is necessary to maintain tire temperatures, but I had a car in front of me and I was going a bit slow, so I lost the temperature. I'm happy with P6, it's a strong position to start the race."
