Brazilian GP, Bottas: “For a Friday, it was positive”
The Finn concluded the afternoon with the third fastest time
Positive day for Williams, in great shape throughout Friday. A welcome surprise with both drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa, home idol.
Il Finnish driver closed the afternoon session in third place, closing on his teammate by just 28 thousandths, but half a second behind the leader, Lewis Hamilton.
"For a Friday, that was good. The balance of the car was quite good in the first run. The long runs were consistent, the car felt okay and the pace was satisfying. But it's only Friday, like every weekend, we will have to improve a lot tomorrow, because everyone will improve in turn" – commented the Finn -. “I'm happy with today, but the days that count are Saturday and Sunday. I think we can be more competitive than the last race, but it's difficult to talk in detail after free practice, because everyone tries different things."
