News – Sebastian Vettel's Ferrari opens on Saturday morning in Spa. The track fills up quickly, with the first time set by Grosjean, 1:53.092. Immediately a spin for the Manor of Roberto Merhi, who however managed to get back on track without problems.
Rosberg he took the lead after a few minutes, with a time of 1:51.737 and Verstappen and Ericsson placed behind him.
1:51.104 is the new time to beat, that of Force India di Hulkenberg, which is followed by Hamilton. Soon after it is Ricciardo to take the lead of the group in 1:50.680. Then it's the Briton's Mercedes turn, first in 1:50.635.

After the first 15 minutes Hamilton leads the group followed by Ricciardo, Roseberg, Kimi, Hulkenberg, Vettel, Kvyat, Perez, Nasr and Verstappen. The two Williams and the McLarens are still missing, with Alonso stopped in the pits due to a problem with the car.
Meanwhile Pirelli confirms that the explosion of the right rear on the Mercedes of Rosberg in FP2 it was caused by debris.
Ricciardo e Verstappen they were the first to switch to yellow tyres, with the Australian thus taking the lead in the standings in 1:49.930.
At the end of the first half hour Kvyat also switches to the soft compound and moves into second position.
With a time of 1:50.460 and the medium tyre, Hag he moves into third position by overriding Verstappen. Shortly afterwards Kimi moved up to sixth place, again on the white compound. Meanwhile Alonso he is always stuck in the pits, with the mechanics busy replacing the engine on his McLaren.

Fifteen minutes to go Ricciardo maintains the lead ahead of Kvyat, Vettel, Verstappen, Hamilton, Kimi, Rosberg, Hulkenberg, Bottas and Massa.
Rosberg he switches to yellow and takes the lead in 1:49.482 but so it is Hamilton to prevail in 1:48.984. Kimi moves into third place behind the two Mercedes but then it is Hag to snatch third place from him in 1:49.629. All drivers switched to the yellow compound for the final minutes of the session.

The checkered flag also marks the end of the Free Trials 3, with Hamilton the fastest ahead of Rosberg, Vettel, Kimi, Perez, Ricciardo, Kvyat, Hulkenberg, Bottas and Massa.
