Belgian GP, ​​security measures increased

Ahead of the Spa weekend, the organizers of the Belgian Grand Prix have increased security measures to prevent any terrorist attacks. Andre Mas, race promoter of the Belgian event, declared that all the necessary precautions will be taken to guarantee maximum safety during the thirteenth round of the season in the premier class of motorsport.

“AWe have positioned several controllers to inspect the various bags, but we will also arrange body searches if deemed necessary. We will receive support from the army. For us safety is a priority. People can come to Spa without any fear".

In the meantime, the presale is proceeding quickly. According to Mas' calculations, they will flock from nearby Holland to support Max Verstappen: “We expect between 15.000 and 20.000 Dutch. We sold 25% more tickets than the last edition".
