Giedo van der Garde is still hoping for a seat for 2012
di StephenJanuary 10, 2012
Giedo van der Garde and its management are still optimistic about securing a seat in F1 next year.
Although there are many high-profile drivers vying for the seats of Williams and HRT, many consider the Dutch pilot of GP2 one of the favourites.
The manager of the Dutch driver, Jan Paul ten Hoopen is also the commercial director of McGregor a Dutch fashion house that has already been in F1. Furthermore, the pilot's father-in-law is the billionaire Marcel Boekhoorn.
“We are very cautious but we are working hard,” the manager told F1Today. “We will let you know if there is any news.”
