Giancarlo Minardi goes against the grain: “Ferrari's web presentation is right”

Regarding the previous article, “Ferrari – That web presentation that distances F1 from the fans”, we asked for the authoritative opinion of a personality who perfectly knows the dynamics of the Circus, of which he was part for over twenty years with his Scuderia.
We are obviously talking about Giancarlo Minardi precisely, to whom we asked for an opinion on the method chosen by Ferrari and other competitors to present their single-seaters: as usual, the Faentino provided a very clear point of view on the matter, the result of his great experience in the environment.

ADM – Mr. Minardi, what do you think of these online presentations of the new single-seaters?

GM - “I know I'm going against the trend, but I don't read web presentations in a negative way, as they allow you to reach everyone quickly.
Indeed, Formula 1 should use new technologies and new channels more and more to involve kids and fans more.
Much better this way than what happened until a few years ago, with presentations with great fanfare with the teams engaged in a fight between those who spent the most.
We live in an increasingly frenetic world and the internet allows connections without borders.
Furthermore, it also has an advantage on the timing to build the car, especially with such a busy calendar.
With a world championship that closes at the end of November and reopens its doors in March, even an extra week of work becomes important.”
