Frijns: “We lapped more than all the other Renault-powered cars”
The Dutchman has completed almost seventy laps
First day of testing in Bahrain without any particular problems for the Caterham that with Robin Frijns he covered a good number of laps obtaining the seventh overall time.
“We have made a lot of progress since Jerez and accumulated 68 laps, many more than the other teams powered by Renault engines, so we must be satisfied – declared the Dutchman – For now I don't feel like making judgments on the speed of the single-seater given that I don't we have still reached the limit in terms of performance, but in general everything seems to be going well. In the morning I struggled a bit with the grip but then thanks to some aerodynamic changes we improved and in the afternoon with the medium set I was able to push as I wanted. This was the last day for me at the wheel of the CT05 before the start of Melbourne and I am happy to have concluded it by completing the planned programme"
