Franco Gozzi, a protagonist in the history of Ferrari

A piece of Prancing Horse history passed away today: Franco Gozzi passed away in Modena at the age of 81. “A fundamental figure in the history of Ferrari has left us” – said President Luca di Montezemolo – “Of him I remember above all the many hours spent together talking about drivers and cars and I am grateful to him for being close to me when I was a young director sportsman of the Scuderia".

It is difficult to condense in a single word what Franco was for the company: sporting director, press officer, communications director, above all one of Enzo Ferrari's closest collaborators and confidants.
