Formula | GP Monaco, the DRS area for the weekend in the Principality

The FIA has made official the point where it will be possible to exploit the DRS system in the Monaco GP, the seventh round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship.

After the double achieved by Red Bull at Montmelò and the sensational retirement of Charles Leclerc, with the latter arriving in the Principality six points behind Max Verstappen, teams and drivers will return to battle in Monte Carlo, a historic circuit with totally unique features.

Like last year, the race commission has chosen to activate only one area, which will be positioned on the main straight of the Principality circuit. The detection cell will be positioned just before 16.

The weekend programme, we remind you, includes two one-hour free practice sessions on Friday and FP3 on Saturday morning. These 60 minutes of work on the track will be the last opportunity for teams and drivers to work on the set-ups in view of qualifying, scheduled for the same day at 15.00pm.

Green light on Sunday afternoon at 15.00 pm. The race can be followed live on Sky Sport F1 HD and deferred on TV8.
