Formula E | Massa satisfied: “We are becoming an increasingly bigger championship”

Intercepted by the Mirror newspaper, Felipe Massa spoke about the growth shown by Formula E over the last few seasons, underlining how the series sponsored by Alejandro Agag is expanding its boundaries, especially in terms of popularity. According to what the Brazilian declared, in fact, the zero emissions category is slowly carving out its own space, an aspect that will lead several drivers, especially those left without a seat in Formula 1, to bet on this project.

“Formula E is following its own path exactly,” said Felipe Massa to the British press. “It is becoming an increasingly bigger championship and this brings a lot of names to become interested. Personally, it was the only championship I would have participated in after Formula 1."

“I focus on Formula E because I believe in this championship,” he continued. “I am sure that this category will host many drivers who will not have the chance to remain in Formula 1. The level is quite high, given that all the drivers in this series could be successful in F1.”
