Formula 1 | Williams, Kubica outlines the objectives for 2019: "I want to earn confirmation for 2020 too"

In a chat given to the broadcaster Telewizja Polska, Robert Kubica outlined the objectives for the 2019 season, underlining how the desire is to earn the renewal also for the 2020 world championship.

According to what the Pole declared, in fact, there is very strong competition in Formula 1, especially after the development of the various junior academies, and keeping your seat in Grove will be a long and tiring process. An exciting and extremely complex challenge, but one that the Pole can't wait to face and win.

Here are the words of Robert Kubica: “Returning to Formula 1 will not be easy at all. Next season will be one of the toughest challenges of my career, but it's what I was looking for. As far as the team is concerned, however, our 2019 was not easy and we cannot expect to suddenly become the best."

“The will will be to work hard during the year, gradually improving our package”, he added. “We aim to make the 2019 car superior to the 2018 one.”

The Pole subsequently outlined the objectives for the next championship, highlighting how confirmation for 2020 is at stake: “The step I have set for myself is perhaps more difficult than the one I have just reached, given that I want to earn a renewal for next season. On the grid there are the twenty fastest riders in the world and therefore we are talking about exceptional competition."

“Precisely in this sense I believe that the car will be a very important step, given that if we manage to put together a good package then confirmation will be one step closer”he concluded.
