Formula 1 | Williams, Kubica involved in three free practice sessions during 2018
The Pole will already be on track in the pre-season tests in Barcelona
As confirmed by Claire Williams and Paddy Lowe during the presentation ceremony of the FW41, Robert Kubica will take part in three free practice sessions during the next Formula One world championship.
The Pole will get to know the new car already in the pre-season tests in Barcelona given that he will get into the car over the course of two days, obviously divided over the course of the two sessions. As regards official commitments, however, we will see the Pole in the FP1s of Spain, Austria and a weekend of your choice (rumors speak of Abu Dhabi, but the team leaders have not confirmed the news. Ed.). Kubica will try to make the most of these windows on board the FW41, trying to make his own contribution to the team.
The target? Obviously, stand out in 2019, perhaps putting pressure on Sergey Sirotkin himself. We therefore just have to find out when the former Renault driver will get into the car during the eight days of pre-season testing.
