Formula 1 | Wehrlein: “I don't rule out staying at Sauber in 2018”

The revolution studied by Clean for 2018 the current staff could change quite a bit. The Swiss team, as confirmed by the Team Principal Frederic Vasseur, in view of next season it intends to redo its look: the primary objective is to increase the size of the company, in order to double the resources that can be spent on the design of the car. From his side, however, the former Caterham driver boasts a good relationship with the owners of Sauber.

pascal wehrlein, speaking about his future, kept open the possibility of staying at Sauber: “I can't say anything at the moment. Negotiations are ongoing anyway I wouldn't categorically rule out the Sauber option for 2018. Never never say never. I would like to stay in Formula 1 and there are possibilities to do so. Mercedes – team with which the German is under contract – will do his best to find me a seat”.
