Formula 1 | Vettel: “I'm happy for Hulkenberg's return to the grid”

In a chat given to the Austrian media, Sebastian Vettel welcomed with a smile the return to the grid of Nico Hulkenberg, the new Haas driver for the 2023 Formula 1 season.

Despite the "stormy" conclusion of the collaboration between the American team itself and Mick Schumacher, a person with whom he created a great relationship, the four-time world champion did not hide his enthusiasm for the German's return to the Circus, highlighting how the latter deserves another important possibility after the misfortunes of recent years.

“The end of the relationship between Mick Schumacher and Haas hurt me, also because you all know our bond,” said the four-time world champion. “Equally, however, I am happy with Hulkenberg's return to the grid. Nico is a driver who has always had good potential, but he has never always found himself in the right car at the right time."
