Formula 1 | Vettel, goal for points at Interlagos

Strengthened by the excellent placing in the points achieved in the last Mexican Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel wants to confirm himself in the next round in Interlagos, the fourth to last round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship.

The German from Aston Martin, taking advantage of the "friendly" characteristics of the green and gold circuit, wants to try to place himself inside the points zone again, a more fundamental objective than ever to keep open the fight for fifth place in the constructors' championship.

“We arrive in Brazil on the strength of a points finish, which is why we want to maintain this momentum,” said the four-time Aston Martin World Champion. “We will race the weekend with the Sprint Qualifying format, which could make things more unpredictable. In any case, the objective does not change. We will try to have a productive Friday and Saturday, so as to aim for the points on Sunday."
