Frederic Vasseur has denied the many rumors regarding a possible interruption of relations between Alfa Romeo Sauber and Ferrari in the near future. Interviewed by the motorsport-total.com newspaper, the French Manager confirmed the excellent relationship between the Cavallino and the Biscione, which began in 2018, underlining how the presence of the Chinese Guanyu Zhou in the official line-up for the 2022 season does not exclude the possibility of starting new collaborations from 2023.

“Zhou's choice for the 2022 season does not preclude other collaborations with Ferrari in the future,” said the Biscione Team Principal, who came under the magnifying glass of the local press. “Ferrari is not in the situation of necessarily having to launch a rookie in Formula 1 every year. We as Alfa collaborate from season to season and this is a very clear aspect for both parties involved."
