Formula 1 | Vandoorne promotes Sirotkin's choice: "He is a talented rider"

In an interview given to the columns of the newspaper La Derniere Heure, Stoffel Vandoorne spoke about the promotion of Sergey Sirotkin within Williams, underlining the enormous talent shown by the Russian in the lower categories. Vandoorne has competed against the current Williams driver several times and according to him it is a profile that can emerge, especially with the help of an experienced team like that of Scuderia Grove.

The Belgian believes the choice made by Paddy Lowe was correct and hopes that this bet can bring many benefits in the immediate future of the English team. Here are the words of Stoffel Vandoorne: “Williams made a great choice. He can count on a young, eager and talented line-up. I have competed against Sergey several times and I must say that he is talented. He's faster than many people think and in my opinion he will stand out in 2018. Together with Williams he can do a really good job."
