At the end of the last Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship, Davide Valsecchi analyzed the contact at the start between Carlos Sainz and Daniel Ricciardo, underlining how the Ferrari Spaniard had a very bad luck in being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Despite the great attention at the start (he started from fourth position), the Iberian was touched from behind on the inside of turn 2, an aspect that led him into a spin and subsequently onto the gravel. A truly unfortunate epilogue which for the second time in a row does not allow him to see the checkered flag.

The objective now will be to get back on track for Miami, given that a further KO could mean the definitive exit from the scene for the world title race, already quite compromised after the latest outings. Appointment in two weeks at the Miami International Circuit for the Miami GP, fifth round of an increasingly uncertain season full of surprises.
