Formula 1 | Breaking news: Verstappen (5 positions) and Perez (10) with penalties in Monza

The weekend in Monza begins with a surprise. Red Bull has decided to unlock a new internal combustion engine (ICE) on the cars of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, and for this reason the two drivers of the Austrian team will have to serve penalty positions on the starting grid of the Grand Prix 'Italy on Sunday. The Dutchman only pays five, having already replaced that component on another occasion outside of the three available, while Sergio Perez will have ten penalty positions, having only now exceeded the limit of available ICEs.

The starting from the back has been confirmed for Hamilton, Bottas and Tsunoda, while Sainz has at the moment only changed the MGU-K and batteries, therefore at the moment fifteen penalty positions, but tomorrow Ferrari will announce the replacement of the entire power unit, and therefore also for the Spaniard it will be starting from the back.
