Formula 1 | Toro Rosso, Kvyat satisfied with the placing obtained in Australia

Returning to the press conference after a year and a half of absence, Daniil Kvyat spoke about the excellent tenth place obtained with Toro Rosso in the last Australian Grand Prix, underlining how the Scuderia Faenza did an excellent job on the STR14.

Thanks to the development promoted by the technicians in collaboration with Honda, in fact, the Italian team has managed to create an extremely valid package, especially when compared to that of Alfa Romeo and McLaren, an aspect that bodes well for the next GP in Bahrain.

“During the first weekend we were always competitive and I would say that we are in the mix in the middle of the group”, declared the Russian, who came tenth in Australia. “It's been an eventful ride in Melbourne, but we're in the fight and we need to keep looking forward.”

On his experience at Ferrari he added: “I learned from the best and was close to the world of Formula 1 even though I wasn't racing. It was a very positive year."
