Formula 1 | Toro Rosso, Kvyat incredulous: “I didn't expect to experience this situation again”

Interviewed at the end of the last German Grand Prix, the eleventh round of this 2019 Formula 1 world championship, Daniil Kvyat spoke of the splendid path that led him to conquer the third step of the podium on the Hockenheim track, underlining how the work carried out from 2017 to today is starting to bear fruit.

The Russian, we remember, left Red Bull at the end of 2017, which brought him to Maranello as a development driver on the simulator. An important experience that allowed him to mature not only from a technical point of view, but also from a human point of view.

“It was like living a horror movie,” said Daniil Kvyat at the end of the last German Grand Prix. “It was like going on a roller coaster, a bit like my career.”

On his farewell at the end of 2017 he added: “I thought I would never get another chance at this mouse. It was difficult and many times I assumed that such a scenario could no longer be repeated. However, I learned that if you work hard, nothing is impossible."

“I have worked hard to achieve this result and I am ready to fight for these positions”, he concluded.
