Questions, obviously, about the other protagonist of these days, namely Daniil Kvyat. The Frenchman expressed his closeness to the Russian, adding that the Circus, at times, proves to be a rather harsh world. Conclusion, however, on the expectations of this weekend: Gasly did not want to set an objective for Sepang, underlining that the only aim will be to try to accumulate as many kilometers as possible without making mistakes.

Here are the words of Pierre Gasly: “It's incredible, but this is how our sport works. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to talk to Daniil Kvyat, but he was also in the same situation as me. He waited for an opportunity and took it by taking someone else's place. Of course I feel sorry for him, but I'm sure he will be able to find another place."

“At the moment I don't know how many races I'll do” added the Frenchman. “There is nothing confirmed. The team told me to focus on this weekend and I will try to do my best. Formula One is a new world for me and I haven't set any goals: I want to do my best for the team. The final result will only be seen on Sunday afternoon."
