Interviewed by Mara Sangiorgio during the pre-race of the last Monaco Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship, Jean Todt spoke about the importance of having a team like Ferrari within the circus, highlighting how the Red , thanks to its charm and history, always manages to "warm" the hearts of enthusiasts, regardless of its performance on the track.

At the same time, however, the Scuderia needs a stage as important as that of Formula 1, given that there are no other series with such a large catchment area and enthusiasts. A mutual exchange which on paper should offer "advantages" for both parties involved.
