Formula 1 | Steiner: “Haas has taken a big step forward between 2021 and 2022”

Interviewed by Sky UK at the end of yesterday's first free practice at Yas Marina, theater of the next Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Guenther Steiner outlined an initial assessment of the season that is coming to an end, specifying how the commitment put in place between 2021 and 2022, especially by the technical staff led by Simone Resta, has allowed Haas to take an important step towards the top areas of the rankings.

An important injection of confidence, expected after the many difficulties of last year, which the South Tyrolean Manager hopes to confirm again next year, also thanks to the help of an expert line-up such as the one composed of the confirmed Kevin Magnussen and the new entry Nico Hulkenberg.

“Between 2021 and 2022 we have made great strides forward,” said the TP of the US team. “Last year's season proved to be extremely complex and I must admit that Simone Resta's staff did an excellent job on the current car.
