Formula 1 | Russell, goal confirmed at Zandvoort: “It's a fantastic track”

George Russell and Nicholas Latifi are looking for important confirmations in the next Dutch Grand Prix, the 13th round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. The Williams standard-bearers, after the momentum of the Budapest race and the "halfway" podium in Spa, they want to give the team other important points for the constructors, an aspect that will push them to extract the maximum potential from the technical package at their disposal.

“I'm really excited for Zandvoort,” said Williams' Englishman. “I've raced there a couple of times already and it's a fantastic circuit. It is full of undulations, very fast and smooth. Requires a tremendous amount of effort. Experiencing it behind the wheel of a Formula 1 will be truly special. Obviously after Spa we all want to go back to racing and put on a show for the fans. We owe it to all the people who are in front of the TVs."

Here are Nicholas Latifi's assessments: “I'm looking forward to continuing the momentum from the last few races in Zandvoort. I haven't raced on this track since 2013, but several changes have been made since then and tackling it in a Formula 1 car will be quite intense. It's very fast and tight, an old school circuit which should make the qualifying session particularly exciting. It will be interesting to experience the changes, especially banking. We hope to have another strong weekend as a team."
