Formula 1 | Rosberg excited: “I can't wait to admire the duel between Vettel and Leclerc”

In a chat given to the columns of Auto Bild, Nico Rosberg spoke about the internal dualism that will be created within Ferrari, underlining how Sebastian Vettel will have to bring out the best of his repertoire to counteract the strength, talent and desire of Charles Leclerc.

According to what the former Mercedes driver declared, from this year the German will be able to count on the right support from the team, also given the promotion of Mattia Binotto to the role of team principal, but at the same time he will find himself in a profoundly different situation in terms of balance inside the garage.

The Monegasque, in fact, will not be content with making an appearance during the next championship, especially if the SF90 turns out to be a title-winning car.

“The new leadership at Ferrari will have a positive effect on Sebastian”, declared the 2016 World Champion. “Last season he was unable to win the title also due to the fact that he lacked the right support.”

On the dualism with Charles Leclerc he added: “Vettel will need a perfect championship, especially in terms of driving. I can't wait to enjoy this duel, as Charles will want to demonstrate all his talent behind the wheel of Ferrari."
