Sensational success for Max Verstappen in the Austrian Grand Prix, ninth round of the 2018 Formula One world championship.

The Dutchman from Red Bull made the most of an absolutely chaotic race, where tire wear played a key factor in the balance between the top teams. Max, unlike his teammate, was good at managing his RB14 in the central part of the race, managing his advantage over the Ferraris of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel. An important blow that allows him to get back into the running as far as the drivers' championship is concerned.

Here are the words of Max Verstappen: “It was a fantastic race, but very difficult in terms of tire management. We struggled a lot with the blistering, but in the end we managed to manage everything until the end, achieving an important success. It's fantastic to win at the Red Bull Ring with this team and with all these Dutch fans."

“As regards the future, however, I have to recover a lot of points,” he added. “Today was an important day in this sense and I hope to replicate these performances also during the next Silverstone weekend”.
