“We have a good car, but unfortunately the start of the season was not as we expected” he added. “The result in Bahrain disappointed everyone a bit, especially me, and the opportunity in Shanghai was useful for the whole team. We took it and made the most of it. Unfortunately in this sport there are ups and downs and everything affects a driver's morale."

He concluded by talking about the reliability of the RB14: “I'm not worried about the reliability of my car. I am a driver and my only concern must be driving, the rest is not up to me. It's clear that at some point in the season we will have to face penalties, but now I'm really calm."
