According to what was declared by the Austrian manager, in fact, Red Bull wants to chase second place in the constructors' world championship, an aspect which obviously must push the Frenchman to improve as early as the next round in Spa.

“To fight against Ferrari in the constructors' championship it is essential to have two competitive cars,” said Christian Horner at the end of the last Hungarian Grand Prix. “The problem lies in the fact that Gasly is not among the leaders at all. This, of course, includes the fact that we should not be competing against McLaren and Sauber."

“During the break, Pierre has to analyze his performance on the track, trying to draw his own conclusions,” continued the Englishman. “We plan to leave him in the car until the end of this season, but I would like him to achieve better results.”
