Formula 1 | Raikkonen aims to confirm himself in France: “We always want more from ourselves”

After the points placing achieved in Baku, Kimi Raikkonen aims to confirm himself in the next French Grand Prix, the eighth round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship. The Finn from Alfa Romeo, thanks to the "positive" moment, hopes to replicate the placing in top 10 obtained in Baku, thus giving other important points to the team for the fight against Haas and Williams in the constructors' championship.

“Scoring points in Baku was positive, but as a team we always want more from ourselves and the car,” said the Finn. “The situation in France will not be different compared to the last events. The gaps in midfield will be quite narrow and we will have to be good at maximizing the potential of the package between Friday and Sunday. Between finishing in the points and outside the top 10 it will only be a matter of hundredths."
