White and red for Biscione's new course in F1

After Thursday's shakedown in Fiorano, Alfa Romeo Racing has finally unveiled the new livery for the 2019 Formula 1 world championship

Shortly before taking to the track for the first day of pre-season testing on the Barcelona track, Alfa Romeo Racing revealed the design of the new C38 in the pit lane, the car with which Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi will tackle the next championship. Formula 1. The single-seater is clearly the same one that ran a few days ago at Fiorano, given that the Italian-Swiss team preferred to carry out a hundred kilometers of shakedown before starting the eight days of pre-season work in Spain.

The technical innovations are therefore the same ones that we told you about a few days ago, that is, an extremely worked front nose, with two vents positioned alongside the central bulb (also equipped with a hole. ed.), and an airbox similar to the C37 and which will probably set the tone for other teams. A lot of work also in the bellies, narrow also thanks to the smaller dimensions of the new Ferrari power unit, and the bottom diffuser area.

As regards the livery, however, Alfa Romeo Sauber has chosen to confirm the colors of last season, with the white and red of the previous Alfa Romeo Sauber era. The only difference compared to the past is the greater presence of red on the front of the car. It should be noted that Kimi Raikkonen will take the C38 on track for the first time.

Appointment at nine for the first day of pre-season testing on the Barcelona track.
