Formula 1 | Plates third Alpine driver for 2022, Ocon: “It will be a very long season for him”

In a chat given to the columns of RaceFans.net, Esteban Ocon analyzed Oscar Piastri's promotion to Alpine as third driver, specifying how the Frenchman is doing his utmost to earn the trust of the team. Despite the fight for the title in Formula 2, where he currently leads the standings ahead of Alfa Romeo driver Guanyu Zhou, the transalpine is actively participating in team meetings, with the aim of learning as much as possible in view of the next year.

“Oscar doesn't need my advice”, said the Frenchman from Alpine. “He is constantly with the team and is curious to discover everything behind a Formula 1 team. For him it will be a very long season, but in life you never know what kind of opportunities you can find among the hands. Here the possibilities can arise quite quickly."
