Formula 1 | Points objective for Alfa Romeo Sauber in the next Chinese Grand Prix

After the ninth place achieved by Marcus Ericsson in Bahrain, the Alfa Romeo Sauber team is ready to fly to China, theater of the third round of this exciting 2018 Formula One season.

The points scored in Sakhir, in fact, gave a notable boost to the Italian-Swiss team and the goal in Shanghai will be battling with Force India and McLaren for a top ten finish. Furthermore, as far as Charles Leclerc is concerned, it will be an extremely important weekend, given that he will have to respond to the excellent result obtained by his teammate in Bahrain.

Here are the words of Marcus Ericsson: "I go to Shanghai feeling quite positive. It's nice to be back inside the points after some fairly difficult moments. It's motivating for the whole team and it seems like a good start to a new chapter with Alfa Romeo. The Shanghai track is fun to drive. It has a good mix of corners and features one of the longest straights of the year. We will have to prepare the car for all types of speeds and corners. This presents a good challenge. I can't wait to get on the track."

Here are Charles Leclerc's impressions: "I can't wait to race the next race in China. The last weekend in Bahrain went quite well for the team, with Marcus scoring two points. Now that we have started to see our potential, we are all motivated and eager to continue on this positive path. This will be my third Formula 1 Grand Prix and I feel more confident in the car. I have never driven on the Shanghai circuit so it will be an interesting experience. The track looks incredible and the fans are always very passionate. Let's see what we can do."
