Formula 1 | Mercedes, Wolff: “We have improved a lot since the beginning of the season”

Mercedes is preparing for the final phase of the season with good intentions, after the many problems at the beginning of the year and a W13 that with difficulty has managed to slowly find at least acceptable competitiveness. In Singapore, a usually difficult track for the Silver Arrows, many pitfalls especially due to the bumpy asphalt which could significantly accentuate the porpoising phenomenon.

“The break was long, but the factories worked hard to prepare for the final rush of the season – said Toto Wolff, Mercedes team principal. Let's see where this hard work will take us. We have improved a lot since the start of the championship, we have recovered and we must continue like this, trying to take advantage of every opportunity. How nice to return to Singapore, the weekend is one of a kind: in fact we remain in the European time, with a tough layout and a very difficult climate. Some aspects of the track should suit our car better, while others will penalize us."
