Formula 1 | Mercedes, Hamilton: “Positive feelings”

Another positive day for Lewis Hamilton aboard the W09 EQ-Power+. The Englishman worked with medium and soft tyres, putting together some good mileage during yesterday morning's session (around 85.ed). The weather partially rewarded the World Champion's performance, but as expected all the top teams are very close. Hamilton finished with a time of 1′”18″400.

Here are the words of Lewis Hamilton: "The day was positive and the car gave me excellent sensations. The tires work well and in this type of climate the W09 EQ-Power+. We managed to accumulate a lot of kilometers and from a reliability point of view we are ok. This is an excellent sign and demonstrates the quality of our work during the winter. It's still all work in progress, but we are on the right path and we hope to take a step forward tomorrow too."
