Formula 1 | Mercedes, Bottas: “The title in 2017? No chance against Hamilton."

Despite an absolutely brilliant first part of the season, Valtteri Bottas was unable to keep up with Lewis Hamilton in the final rounds of this championship, even wasting a sensational opportunity in Brazil. In an interview given in Abu Dhabi, the Finn himself underlined how in 2018 he must demonstrate that he is worth a seat within Mercedes, trying to keep up with Lewis Hamilton as much as possible. Valtteri's objective will in fact be to work on his difficulties and weaknesses, especially with regards to understanding the car, trying to improve his performance on the track.

Here are the words of Valtteri Bottas: “The season was tough. I was really hoping for something more, but I'm happy that the team confirmed me for 2018 too. I couldn't beat Hamilton this year, but next season I will try to work on my weaknesses, trying to improve my performance on the track. I need to demonstrate my talent, especially to keep this seat for a long time. The team is on my side and there are all the conditions to be able to do this job well."
