Formula 1 GP Monaco Mercedes W14 – While waiting for the first free practices tomorrow, which will offer the first feedback on the work carried out by the team in recent months, Mercedes showed this morning the first technical innovations on the W14s of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, effectively confirming the statements made by Toto Wolff this week. As anticipated numerous times by the Austrian manager, in fact, the Anglo-German team has revised various parts of this year's car, both mechanically (brand new front suspension) and aerodynamically (new bellies, coca-cola area magazine and goodbye to the zero-pods philosophy).

A total revolution, dictated by the poor performances of the last two years, which on paper should offer the drivers and technicians a car that is not only more aerodynamically charged (and above all less "suffering" from drag), but also easier to send in the right window of use. Mercedes, let's remember, in this first part of the season has often managed to optimize the potential of the car, getting the best out of its package, but has never been able to come close to the performance of Red Bull.
