Formula 1 | McLaren, Ricciardo: “Silverstone offers good overtaking possibilities”

Even for Daniel Ricciardo the Canadian Grand Prix didn't go exactly as he hoped. The Australian driver seems to be increasingly comfortable with the car, despite the team results being far from the set objectives, however compared to the first races, the McLaren standard bearer has acquired a little more confidence, which is essential to push at most its MCL36.

“Canada was difficult for us – Ricciardo said. We need to learn about what happened in Montreal and move forward. Silverstone offers some good overtaking opportunities, so it will be fun to see how these new era cars behave. I want to get back on track in front of our fans straight away: they are fantastic and we will do everything we can to give them joy. Last year it was full of papaya colored people, and this is where I debuted in Formula 1, it will always be a special place for me.”
