Lando Norris achieved an excellent sixth position in qualifying at Silverstone, and will therefore start from the third row alongside his compatriot and world champion Lewis Hamilton tomorrow. The young Englishman, despite the many difficulties revealed by McLaren, even more so without significant updates for the race in the United Kingdom, provided a truly excellent performance under water and brought home a result that puts him in an excellent starting position.

We don't know how it will go in the race, but we believe that Hamilton and Mercedes are much faster. Today is a day in which a driver can make a difference compared to the car, but being in front of a Mercedes is quite a surprise, because their car is faster than ours even under water and they have brought many updates here, while we we didn't bring anything, and so considering all these things we managed to do a great job. If we managed to maintain this result we could be satisfied, it would be difficult for us to do better than sixth and seventh position".
