Formula 1 | McLaren, Boullier: “The new car will not be a revolution”

In an interview with the O'Globo network, Eric Boullier spoke about the car that will take to the track next season, underlining how the new McLaren will be an evolution of this year's car. The objective of the Scuderia from Woking will be to close the gap against Red Bull and Ferrari, trying to stay permanently close to the top three.

Here are Boullier's words: “We have clear ideas for the future and I don't think we will revolutionize the car for 2018. The Renault power unit requires smaller radiators and this helps the aerodynamicists' task, but the basic concepts will always be the same. We have a great car, probably one of the best in terms of cornering speed, which is why we will develop an excellent base. There is no reason to revolutionize everything."
