Formula 1 | Lundgaard on track with the RS18 at Silverstone

"Skip" on the track for Christian Lundgaard at the wheel of the RS18, the car with which the Renault team faced the 2018 Formula 1 world championship.

The Danish driver, spearhead of the Transalpine Junior Team, completed 101 laps on the Silverstone track, increasing his experience not only with a Formula 1 car, but also with the team and with all the processes that take place within of the garage.

An important session that is part of a well-articulated program that Renault is carrying out with all its young people. Lundgaard, we remember, is tackling the Formula 2 championship with the colors of ARTGP.

“It was a very calm day at Silverstone and I'm happy with my test,” Lundgaard said. “We managed to complete a large part of the program we had planned. Furthermore, the feeling with the car on the track was excellent. We did some qualifying runs and several race simulations, collecting important data to analyze. I had already driven the RS18, but putting in more kilometers was fantastic. I am sure that this day's work will give me many lessons."
