Formula 1 | Force India locks down Perez and Ocon

La Force India is willing to confirm Sergio Perez ed Esteban Ocon also for the 2018 season. Despite the disagreements between the two this year, Bob Fernley, deputy director of the Indian team, has no intention of changing this year's driver package: "We will do everything to keep both of you" – said Fernley ad Motorsport. “We are in a fortunate position in that, just like the top three teams in the World Championship, we have two very talented drivers, and we will need this to fight for fourth place in 2018, hopefully hopefully finishing even higher. Fernley then clarified Ocon's contractual situation, explicitly declaring that they wanted to keep him close for the next few seasons: "Esteban is under contract with us for three years and two of them are absolutely safe.
