Formula 1 | Head launches Kubica: “He is an exceptional driver”

In an interview with Sky Sports, Patrick Head commented on Williams' latest moves regarding the line-up for 2018, underlining how Paddy Lowe is doing an excellent job within the Grove team. According to Head, Kubica is a very talented driver and if his physical condition is good he will be able to give a big hand to the English team.

Here are the words of Patrick Head: “Robert has been one of the exceptional drivers seen in Formula 1 in recent years. The big obstacle is: does he still have the mettle and strength? It's only him who knows. Is he physically capable? No doubt he has an arm that is heavily ruined. Williams wants to find out all this. If he is physically capable of running, he will be a great choice. There will always be a question mark over Robert, due to his physical limitations, until he proves otherwise. Maybe a test in Abu Dhabi will show the team internally whether he has the ability to race."
