Formula 1 | Hamilton sets no limits: "I want to compete for the eighth title"

Speaking at Expo 2020, Lewis Hamilton outlined his personal objective for the 2022 Formula 1 world championship, underlining how his will is to compete until the end to win the eighth world title of his career.

After the bitter end in Abu Dhabi and the long winter break useful to recharge the batteries, the Briton said he was motivated to achieve this important result, which would allow him to overtake Michael Schumacher and become the most successful driver in the history of Formula 1 .

“At the moment it is impossible to decipher what the future holds for me, but personally I can say that the eighth title would be everything,” said the seven-time World Champion. “I can't know now how I would feel, but it would certainly be something shocking to achieve a unique result that no one has ever achieved in Formula 1. I came back after last winter to win and experience these sensations”.
