Formula 1 | Hamilton doesn't give up an inch: "We'll keep pushing"
The Englishman is ready to continue the streak of successes started in Styria
At the end of the last one Hungarian Grand Prix, third event of this 2020 Formula 1 world championship, Lewis Hamilton expressed his satisfaction with the success achieved in Budapest, underlining how Mercedes is carrying out work of absolute importance not only from an aerodynamic point of view, but also on the engine front, given that the power unit has proven to be high-performance and very reliable in the first three rounds of this championship.
After the difficulties experienced in Austria, we remember, the Englishman achieved success in Styria and Hungary, overcoming Valtteri Bottas at the top of the drivers' standings. An important result that the six-time world champion hopes to confirm also in the double round at Silverstone.
“We continue to push and we demonstrated it with the fastest lap,” said the Englishman of the Mercedes. “I have to thank everyone, starting with those who work in the engine department. We have improved a lot. The first match I was hit by a barrage of punches, but I recovered. I have taken the leadership of the world championship and I want to continue like this."
