New nomination for Lewis Hamilton at this year's Laureus World Sports Awards. After the award received in 2017, in fact, the English five-time world champion confirmed his position also with regards to this year's ceremony, positioning himself among the most victorious athletes of the last calendar year.

The Mercedes standard-bearer will face Luka Modric, fresh winner of the Ballon d'Or, and the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Lebron James, Novak Djokovic and Eliud Kipchoge. It should be noted that Mercedes, represented by Toto Wolff, will also participate in the race.
