Formula 1 | US GP, Binotto analyzes the race: “Negative performance” [VIDEO]

Interviewed by Federica Masolin at the end of the last United States Grand Prix, the third to last round of this 2019 Formula 1 world championship, Mattia Binotto commented on Ferrari's disappointing performance on the Circuit of the Americas track, underlining how the red car found itself face a difficult, almost disastrous Sunday.

In fact, due to a mechanical problem with the right rear suspension, Vettel was compromised in the first laps of the Grand Prix, with it then failing during the first stint of the race (breakage still not justified. Ed.).

As for Leclerc, however, the first stint of the race on average did not offer the expected ideas, with the Monegasque suffering from the lack of grip from the tyres. The spec 2 unit then did the rest, forcing it to a disappointing fourth place.

A negative Sunday that the Red team will try to make up for in fifteen days at Interlagos, theater of the next Brazilian Grand Prix.
