Development work continues at Mercedes in free practice for the Spanish Grand Prix, the fifth round of this 2019 Formula 1 world championship.

In fact, during the Sky Sport live broadcast this morning, Matteo Bobbi analyzed the innovations introduced by the world champion team on the Montmelò track, mainly focusing his attention on the mirrors, similar to those used by Red Bull and Williams and introduced last season from Ferrari, and on the front wing, now noted with a particular curvature in its central area.

The badge borders have also been modified, both front and rear. As regards the former, a boomerang shape should be noted, profoundly different from that used in Baku, while for the latter, the insertion of a third vertical element should be noted.

Bottas and Hamilton, we remember, closed this morning's free practice with the first and fourth times, separated by the two Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc.
